Suzanne Letellier

Suzanne Letellier is a community health educator with nearly 30 years of experience. She has experience in training health professionals in CPR, back safety, blood borne pathogens, communicable diseases, stress management and cultural competency. Suzanne has a BS in Community Health Education

from The University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and a Masters in Education with a health emphasis from Carroll University. 

Before becoming Executive Director, her work at Milwaukee AHEC focused on programs that empower high school and college students, especially those from underrepresented groups, to follow education and training paths that help them become the diverse healthcare workforce of tomorrow.  A particular area of interest for Suzanne is cultural competence and how Community Health Workers can improve the quality of health in vulnerable populations. She now takes the lead in continuing the programs she so passionately helped grow at Milwaukee AHEC over the last 19 years.
