Marigsa Carmona-Rodriguez was born and raised in  Milwaukee. Marigsa was raised by her Puerto Rican parents who raised her to take pride in her Spanish culture. She has taken pride in volunteering and working with her community in Milwaukee for 25 years in the social service field working with youth programs and elderly programs.

 

In 2015, Marigsa graduated from Milwaukee Area Education Center’s Community Health Worker training program. Since then, she has been dedicated to assisting/educating others in her community as a Community Health Worker (CHW). Additionally, Marigsa is a member of the National Association of Community Health Workers (NACHW).

In Marigsa's spare time, she is dedicated to going to her son's and grandson’s baseball games and enjoying family time and cooking.
