Engrith Rivera

Engrith was hired to work closely with leadership and the departmental team to aid in the efficient rollout, coordination, and evaluation of the Community Health Worker Training Program and Initiatives.  She oversees all activities of the department and identifies the community health worker training developmental needs ensuring that there is consistency with core competencies and goals.  

Engrith holds a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction & School Administration from Concordia University. Her experience is in middle and high school education as a licensed ESL teacher and Instructional coach prior to MAHEC. She came to the US in 2015 from Puerto Rico and is excited to use her native language(Spanish) within AHEC. 

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, and running. She enjoys playing with her dog and going on road trips.
